Traditionally, invitations go out six to eight weeks before the wedding- that gives guests plenty of time to clear their schedules and make travel arrangements if they don’t live in town. If it’s a destination wedding, you should send your invitations about three months in advance. Save The Date cards typically are sent out 6–9 months prior to your wedding

WHEN SHOULD I SEND OUT MY INVITATIONS?

HOW LONG WILL MY INVITATIONS TAKE TO CREATE?

This really depends on the specifics of what you need, but turn around time is typically 4 or 5 weeks. Once we have discussed your ideas in detail and you have sent me the relevant information & photos, I will request a non-refundable deposit before I make a start on your first proof. The amount of time also depends on the communication time between us- which is very important!

A majority of my printing is outsourced to ensure that my clients receive the highest quality paper stocks, inks, and image definition. By outsourcing my printing, I’m also able to offer a wider range of services and materials. Some of my favorite printing methods I offer are:

Ultimately, whatever you want! I have a standard set of fonts, papers, and colors I work with often, but these are YOUR invitations and I will work with each client to make sure their vision is achieved.

WHAT ARE YOUR OPTIONS FOR COLOR, PAPER TYPE, & FONTS?

I am able to design and print your menus, place cards, programs, thank you cards, and anything else you need for your big day! Not only will it save you the hassle of going to multiple vendors, but it also guarantees a cohesive brand and aesthetic.

CAN YOU SUPPLY ITEMS OTHER THAN INVITATIONS?

I can help save you time and energy by helping stamp, stuff, and seal invitation suites for an additional fee depending on the amount of assembly involved. Otherwise,we send invitation suites with each individual piece assembled, but invitation sets un-assembled, unless otherwise discussed.

DO YOU ASSEMBLE & SEND OUT MY ORDER? 

Yes! Ordering all your print components at once will save me time and it will save you money in the long run. Also it helps me establish a brand identity (design, fonts, style) for all your designs. Printing in bulk cuts down on your paper and printing costs- check out the packages I offer!

Yes! I have worked with clients all the way from California to Virginia and places in between. Whether it be Skype, a phone call, or email, I can communicate with whichever method my client prefers and make it just as memorable of an experience as if we were face-to-face.

DO YOU WORK WITH CLIENTS OUTSIDE OF INDIANA?

DIGITAL PRINTING: The most cost-effective option, can be in any color and on almost any paper.

LETTERPRESS: This technique uses a metal plate to make a deep impression into a thick paper for a luxurious feel. This upgrade starts around $300 per letterpress area per letterpress color.

FOIL PRINTING: Foil is typically seen in metallic, but can be offered in almost any color.This method uses a metal plate to impress into the thicker paper, and adds a beautiful shine.. This upgrade depends on size and color, and begins at around $200 per piece.

THERMOGRAPHY: This method brings the traditional raised-ink feel to your invitations. Thermography involves heating a powder with ink to create a raised feel for your text and graphics.

Great question! Based on our initial discussion and your design needs, I will create an invoice and send it to you, where I then require a 50% deposit in order for work to begin. You can make your payments via Credit Card (linked on invoice) or if you would prefer writing me a check that is fine too! I do require all final payments to be made before the delivery/mailing of final designs.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE PAYMENT?

I do, depending on my current project workload. Also, please be aware that an additional rush fee will be added to your invoice.
